Why Aren't You Happy Yet...
You have already accomplished goals you once swore would make you happy.
Let's read that again;
You have ALREADY accomplished goals you once swore would make you happy... so why aren't you?
“If I could just reach this milestone, then I’d be fulfilled.”
Sound familiar? Yet here you are, still unsatisfied, still chasing the next thing.
So, why?
The problem isn’t what you haven’t done—it’s that you’re too focused on the next goal to appreciate how far you’ve come. You keep moving the goalposts, convincing yourself you’re “falling behind” when in reality, you’re refusing to acknowledge your progress. Until you break this cycle, fulfillment will stay out of reach.
I get it. At 23, I’m speaking at a business conference for 8,000 people before I even walk the stage to get my BComm degree. I’ve been on panels, podcasts, and built a skill set unique to my industry. Yet, I’ve caught myself thinking it’s not enough. The problem isn’t my achievements—it’s my mindset. And chances are, that’s true for you too.
Own Where You Are—You’ve Earned It
You are where you deserve to be right now. Every decision, every sacrifice has led you here. If you’re not happy with where you are, it’s not because of external forces—it’s because of your choices.
We tend to blame others or circumstances when things don’t feel right. But the hard truth? It’s all on you. Maybe you didn’t take that risk you should have. Maybe you played it safe when pushing harder could’ve taken you further. Whatever it is, your present reality is the sum of your decisions.
And here’s the kicker: the choices you make today will shape your tomorrow. Success doesn’t fall into your lap—you have to build it. So, ask yourself: are you actively creating the life you want, or are you waiting for things to magically change?
Celebrate What You’ve Done—Stop Minimizing Your Wins
We all feel doubt sometimes. But the issue isn’t that you haven’t achieved enough—it’s that you’re not giving yourself credit. I’ve been there, thinking, “I’m not where I should be.” But when I step back, I see that I’m doing things many people my age haven’t touched. So, why does that doubt creep in?
Because it’s easy to focus on the gap between where you are and where you want to be. That mindset keeps you stuck. The truth is, everything you’ve accomplished so far has laid the foundation for where you’re headed.
Instead of beating yourself up for not being “there” yet, start recognizing how far you’ve already come. You wouldn’t be in this position without the hard work you’ve put in. Appreciate that.
The Grind Never Stops—Are You Ready?
Here’s the bottom line: success isn’t a destination; it’s a process. If you’re not satisfied, it’s because you haven’t embraced that truth. Achievement doesn’t come from hitting one big milestone—it comes from owning every decision, every day.
So, are you ready to stop feeling stuck? Ready to break the cycle of dissatisfaction? The next big thing won’t give you fulfillment—recognizing your progress and pushing forward will.
The real question isn’t whether you’re capable. It’s whether you’re willing to put in the work today, and every day, to build the future you want.
